Château Haut-Bailly is one of the most important references in the Bordeaux wine area and a historic name among the Premiers Crus Classés. The estate extends over 30 hectares in the PessacLéognan appellation and follows a production philosophy focused on the balance between technological innovation, oenological quality and environmental sustainability.
Within this context, LASI, in synergy with NOFORMSTUDIO for design and process integration, developed a highly functional production site with strong architectural value, based on gravity-fed winemaking and whole berry handling, without the use of pumps.
Gravity-fed winemaking plant in Bordeaux
The supply includes over 30 fermentation and wine storage tanks, both conical and floating roof, with capacities ranging from 40 to 200 hl, along with more than 800 m² of stainless steel structural walkways arranged in two circular levels providing access to the tanks, connected by a central lift and finished with solid oak wood.
The project is completed by curved structural glass railings and vertical wood paneling, making it one of LASI’s most iconic winery projects, combining advanced engineering, stainless steel wine equipment and refined architectural design.
