The project for Ponti at its Ghemme facility (Novara) confirms the expertise of Gruppo LASI in the design and construction of stainless steel industrial systems for the food industry, with a specific focus on wine storage and alcohol-based solutions.
The project included the design, on-site construction and installation of 20 vertical cylindrical stainless steel tanks for wine storage, each with a capacity of 3,300 hl, along with 4 tanks for mixing and storage of alcohol solutions (4,000 hl) and 2 buffer tanks for cleaning operations.
A modern production plant for the food industry
The entire system is supported by over 210 linear meters of stainless steel walkways installed at a height of 11 meters, complete with spiral staircases, ensuring safe access and operational efficiency.
The supply is completed by a sanitary AISI 316 stainless steel piping system for product transfer and handling, high-pressure compressed air systems and low-pressure nitrogen systems, together with an advanced electronic automation system for tank management.
