Château de La Chaize represents one of LASI’s benchmark projects in France. Located in Odenas, in the Beaujolais region, the site holds significant historical value, being one of the oldest winery production buildings in the country, with a linear development of approximately 100 meters and a constant 1% sloped flooring.
This challenging project involved the development and installation of a complete red wine vinification system, including over 40 conical and floating roof stainless steel tanks with capacities ranging from 80 to 130 hl, fully insulated and temperature-controlled, along with 4 mobile cuvons for winery operations.
A modern winemaking plant
The system also includes more than 600 m² of custom-designed structural catwalk supporting a tempered and laminated structural glass flooring, providing access to the tanks and integrated with dedicated stairways.
The installation is completed by a mobile “Leonardo 2” punch down system and 6 multifunctional distribution columns for electricity, compressed air and water, ensuring high operational efficiency and continuity across all winemaking processes.
